It has been quite a while since I posted, but fortunately I have still been busy making arrangements. I will start posting the ones that are completed in the next days.
Here is a small arrangement of Wayne Shorter's famous Footprints I did recently for a show. This was an interesting one. We were playing a gig in which the majority of the pieces were my arrangements. and this tune was called a couple days before the performance. I love the original, but I didn't feel like taking the composed changes as it didn't really fit the theme of the work I had done with the other music, so in an hour or so I made this. It probably could use some extra time on it in future, but for now I found it works quite well. It gives the tune a rather optimistic and open feel.
