I must admit, before starting this one, Misty was not one of my favourite ballads. After a week or so working on this arrangement I had to change my mind. Quite an exquisite composition, and deservedly one of the most popular standards of all time. Definitely a benefit of this type of work is that one really gets to the heart of a piece.
This is work in progress. I have already done extensive tweaks and changes as it has been rehearsed. Check back tomorrow also for some audio. (It may well be needed in this one - there are some particular voicings that set the overall tone)
