ii - V - I chord substitutions

This one is fairly straightforward. Below is a chart of ii V i substitutions (alternatives to the standard progression) that I have used in the various arrangements thus far. This is is not an exhaustive list. It could well go into many pages more and I will add to this in the next few months. On the chart I have named some of them. A more detailed description of what these mean will be posted in due course. *

I have also included audio examples.

(As an aside - I found this a great practice. Taking this through the keys with the correct voice leading is no easy task and will give me material to work on for several weeks.)

* In the recent update of this post I have taken the labels out to avoid clutter. I will take a closer look at some of the techniques used here at a later point.
