Understanding my charts - Voicings: Minor b13 chords

In order to help musicians understand better the charts that I have published here I am going to be looking in detail at some of the more common piano voicings I use.

One of the chords I use frequently, but is not always easy to understand, is the minor b13 chord. In my chord charts I have written it as -b6 (as my software doesn't allow the other spelling).

Here is the voicing I use the most:

The chords I here are G-b13, A-b13 and B-b13. These chords can be found in Robert Glasper's tune Ah Yeah. (Youtube Link) The easy way to think of them is a stack of 4ths starting on the 7th degree.

An alternative spelling for the first chord could be Ebadd9/G. I find bass players prefer to read it like this and pianist as above.

There are left hand voicings for these chords for pianists to use while soloing, but I will look at those at a later point.
